Everyone's love story is different...and when it's true LOVE you will know. God still brings people together in His time!

 

Our love story began with separate prayers — heartfelt pleas for a love that was different, special, and God-centered.  We were both on different life journeys that left us feeling weary of experiencing lasting love after past disappointments. In fact, we later learned that we both stopped actively pursuing love and focused on simply living our best single lives. We decided to pray and put our faith in God's hands. Then, one day, guided by divine timing, our paths crossed in an unexpected way.

 

We met through an online dating app. Tony, feeling discouraged and ready to delete his account, open the app and a picture of Christie appeared at the top of his profile. He paused, captivated by her beauty and highlights from her profile. Despite this initial impression, Tony hesitated. Lacking the confidence to reach out, he didn’t match as a friend right away. Yet, each time he opened the app, her picture reappeared, as if calling out to him.  Finally, after viewing her photos and profile multiple times, Tony decided to take a leap of faith. He initiated a friend match with Christie and sent her the first message.

Meanwhile, Christie had a similar experience. She was on the verge of deactivating her online dating account, as it yielded NO fruit! But that day, something held her back. Just before she could deactivate her profile, a notification popped up — a new friend match request.

Christie viewed Tony’s profile description and pictures and found something warm and genuine in his smile, something that made her pause. Feeling a spark of curiosity and hope, she accepted Tony's friend request and responded to his message.  After many engaging and great conversations, we escalated to phone calls...then video calls...and eventually a first date. It was the BEST first date ever!
